Bizarre Rainbow Chicken Races In Outback

An Australian town has hatched an egg-cellent plan to attract more tourists by hosting a bizarre painted chicken race.

Mum-of-two Skye Jordan, 39, was travelling with her family through the remote town of Tambo in Queensland, Australia, when she spotted an ‘interesting’ advertisement for a rainbow chicken race at the local pub.

While she was only passing through the town, the mum was so curious about the race that it prompted her and partner Douglas, 40, and children Addisyn, eight, and Oliver, six, to stay the night in Tambo.

Registered nurse Skye captured the chicken race on camera and said the entire thing sent her family ‘into hysterics’.
