A fearless photographer has captured incredible footage of a friendly brown bear – from so close he could hear it breathing.
Finnish PE teacher Valtteri Mulkahainen was unfazed when the amicable mammal came within 3ft (one metre) of him last week.
The 57-year-old, who lives in the village of Sotkamo in Northern Finland, filmed the amazing close encounter from a house in the nearby town of Suomussalmi.
Valtteri, who has been a keen amateur photographer for eight years, said: “I was photographing bears from the house, when this one came close.
