Zoo Visitors Witness Rare Sight Of Two Tigers Fighting Over Prey

Visitors to a popular national park were stunned to see the rare sight of two roaring tigers getting into a fight in front of them over prey. The violent drama unfolded at Ranthambore National Park, a vast wildlife reserve in the northern Indian state of Rajasthan.

The two territorial predators faced off over food during a safari tour, according to reports. In video footage filmed by wildlife enthusiast and tiger expert Dhindar Godha, the larger tiger on the right approaches the female big cat and the pair start fighting. As growls fill the air, the tiger manages to knock the tigress to the ground and she runs off into the forest.

The onlookers remained deathly quiet during the confrontation, which lasted for nearly 15 minutes. The male tiger is the cub of T-60, while the female tiger is the cub of T-39, according to Ranthambore National Park officials. The safari park is considered one of the best places in the world to see tigers in the wild.
