Watch How The Seats Of Inside Nashville Symphony Hall Change Over To A Flat Floor

The Laura Turner Concert Hall in the Schermerhorn Symphony Center is a pretty versatile space — the hall is of course home to the Nashville Symphony, but it’s also hosted concerts from the likes of Boyz II Men, Kenny Rogers, Ben Folds and countless others, not to mention pops, jazz and film series and beyond.

To accommodate these various events, Turner Hall does something interesting: It swallows up its seats to convert to a flat floor.

In a video posted by the Nashville Symphony, you can see Schermerhorn staff making the changeover.
