Feeding the hungry is a time-honored tradition among people of many faiths, all over the world.
Bangla Sahib Bangla Sahib Gurdwara, is an historic Sikh shrine in central Delhi, is always open for the hungry and doesn’t discriminate between a pilgrim and a protestor. Everybody is welcome to a meal, and nearly everybody comes. Thousands of people are fed every day.
Some of meals are: langar which usually features dal-chawal (lentil and rice), sabzi-roti (vegetable and chapatis) and kheer (rice pudding).
