Space Station Astronauts Develop a Water Bubble In Space

Throughout Expedition 40, NASA astronauts Steve Swanson and Reid Wiseman, together with European Area Company astronaut Alexander Gerst, explored the phenomenon of water floor pressure in microgravity on the Worldwide Space Station.

The crew “submerged” a sealed GoPro digital camera right into a floating ball of water the dimensions of a softball and recorded the exercise with a 3-D digital camera.
