The San Diego Police Department wants Pokémon Go players to “be the very best, like no one ever was.” To that end, a couple officers blasted the theme song of the Pokémon TV show through Balboa Park for players trying to catch ‘em all.
The Twitter account for the park has been luring Pokémon Go players to the location, calling it “fuel for all.” According to a bystander, who posted footage of the incident on YouTube, the cops rolled through the park at 11 p.m. on Thursday.
“He actually wasn’t trolling us and was just showing his support,” read the caption. Watch the SDPD officers in the video above.
