A 18-year-old restaurant worker delivered a lot more than a pizza to a Michigan family when he sat down at their baby grand piano and played a flawless rendition of a Beethoven masterpiece.
Bryce Dudal was delivering a Hungry Howie’s pepperoni pizza to the Varchetti family outside Detroit when he noticed their piano and asked if he could look at it.
Paul invited the recent high school graduate inside and asked him if he played. Dudal responded that he did and took a seat on the piano bench. The teen then began to play the third movement of Beethoven’s ‘Moonlight’ sonata.
Dudal’s musical abilities were so captivating, even the Varchettis’ 10-year-old son and his friend stopped playing video games to listen.
Beginning around the age of six, Dudal started playing music on his family’s small keyboard, listening to complicated songs and teaching himself how to recreate them. He eventually took lessons for several years until other hobbies took over his time.
