After learning that his son, a First Lieutenant in the US Army, was going to be coming back to his base in Virginia after being stationed in Kuwait for nine months, this pilot father took a chance and got assigned to the connecting flight from Germany to Virginia.
Since he wasn’t able to find out for sure if his son was on the flight and had to work only off his intuition, once the father finally saw his son walk onto the connecting flight, the two of them embraced in a big, loving hug.
