People Jump to Safety After Deadly Earthquake in Taiwan Collapses Buildings

People jumped from a partially collapsed building in Taiwan after a magnitude 6.4 earthquake shook the island Tuesday.

The US Geological Survey says the quake struck 13 miles northeast of the island, which lies within the Pacific Rim of Fire, known for its seismic activity.

Two hotel employees were killed after the ground floor caved in and the building collapsed, according to officials.
