A New Zealand man films a close encounter with an orca while paddleboarding.
Luke Reilly said he was a little nervous but continued filming the killer whale which popped up off the coast of Whitianga on the Coromandel peninsula.
“Someone said there’s some orcas down the beach so I chucked the GoPro in my pocket because I had it surfing,” the 27-year-old told New Zealand’s TV 3.
