An Irish parliament member’s speech was interrupted by his own loud wardrobe. Aengus O Snodaigh, a member of the Sinn Féin party, was discussing the hazards of asbestos when his musical tie suddenly decided the speech needed some background music.
While his concerns were brushed off, one of his fellow politicians did take notice of his tie, expressing her own concerns.
She jokingly suggested that musical ties should be turned off because they might “interfere with Santa’s flight path.”
