Ten years ago, Josefin Arrhénborg and Maria Rindstam were searching for a green-friendly way to dispose of their old, decaying sailboat.
They quickly realized that their community in Sweden had no scrap yard for boats, leading people to sink their plastic and wood boats into the sea. Taking matters into their own hands, Josefin and Maria started their own scrap yard.
Today, it’s grown into the biggest in the country.
