This is the bizarre moment a man who beached his Maserati sports car decided to start playing golf on the shore as he waited for police to arrive.
Shocked witnesses watched on as the man casually drove his Maserati Quattroporte, worth over $115,000, onto the sand at Camp Cove in Sydney’s affluent Watsons Bay.
When it became bogged down, he simply exited the luxury car and started teeing off into the water – puffing away on cigarettes while blasting Bob Marley classics.
After a conversation with three officers who responded to the call, the man opted to put the nine iron back in his cart bag and slip on a blue polo shirt.
The car was towed from the beach and the man was taken to St Vincents Hospital for assessment.
