Kids Too Sick To Travel See The World Through Virtual Reality Program From Expedia, St. Jude’s

Traveling is a luxury for anyone, but for the kids battling a variety of illnesses at St. Jude Children’s Hospital, it’s nearly impossible.

That’s why the medical institution has partnered with travel company Expedia to launch a pilot program called “Dream Adventures,” which offers child patients “travel” opportunities via immersive virtual reality.

Now for those kids at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital who can’t travel and see the world, Expedia used 360° camera technology to bring the world to them, live.
