How a 15-year-old’s Invention Is Saving Lives On The Streets Of Dublin

Emily Duffy is a 15 year old in Dublin who spent a day living on the streets to raise money to help the homeless. That inspired her to invent the “Duffily Bag”, which earned her a Commendation at the Young Scientist expo.

In partnership with the Mendicity Institute in Dublin, the bags are being produced by members of the homeless community. Even more important that the protection the bags provide is the opportunity to transition back into the work force for these men.
