With a woman’s life on the line, four brave people formed a human chain in order to rescue the stranded motorist as flood waters roared through Ellicott City, Maryland.
In the video, the harrowing scene nearly turned tragic but thankfully everyone in the footage survived.
At first, the woman was hesitant to leave her vehicle despite the fact that she would have likely died if she remained in the vehicle. Thankfully, she eventually decided to leave after onlookers continued to beg her to get out.
Then, even after she decided to exit the vehicle, she froze when asked to reach out to the human chain.
That’s when one of the heroes literally carried her to safety while risking his own life.
