These Guys Built The World’s Largest Nerf Gun And It Shoots Massive Darts At 40 MPH

Some ambitious tinkerers have taken the NERF gun to new heights by building the biggest DIY-version known to man.

Created by former NASA engineer and science YouTuber Mark Roberts – alongside two friends – the gun itself packs a wallop thanks to a 3,000-pounds-per-square-inch paint ball canister which allows 80-PSI per shot and darts fashioned out of pool noodles and plunger tops that can travel up to 40 MPH.

In an attempt to test out the sheer power of the device, Roberts changed out the projectile for something a little more aerodynamic to see if he could shoot something the length of a football field. Hit play to see if they pulled it off.
