‘Wap bap’, a brand new song from German beauty YouTuber BibisBeautyPalace was uploaded on May 5th (2017, duh) and is already the eighth most disliked video in YouTube history. Ouch.
Notice that we said ‘video’ there, not ‘music video’ because this isn’t just one of the most disliked videos in the music realm – this is one of the most disliked video that have ever existed on YouTube.
It still has a long way to go to claim the crown of ‘most disliked’ from Justin Bieber’s ‘Baby’ but it’s ability to gain dislikes in such a short space of time has surely set it on its way.
It’s a music video fromBianca ‘Bibi’ Heinicke, a German YouTuber known for her channel BibisBeautyPalace. The song centres around the phrase ‘wap bap’ and sounds like a truck filled with Vlogging background music smashed into an Apple Commercial.
The video is highly produced but is also just a bunch of random nonsense that doesn’t appear to have any particular point, much like the song itself (though perhaps more will be revealed once musicologists get enough time to really break it down).
