Destin Sandlin, host of Smarter Every Day, constructed a potato gun with a clear combustion chamber so he could film the explosions at 20,000 fps with a high-speed camera to create an amazing slow-motion video.
Sandlin experimented by igniting the gas at different sections of the chamber to study how that impacts the explosions.
