In a heartwarming show of gratitude, this ovarian cancer patient could not believe her eyes as she was welcomed home to a surprise street parade by her family and friends.
Cristina Muneton, 58, was left emotional and without words when she returned home to her neighborhood in Jacksonville, Florida, USA, to discover those most dear to her holding balloons, hand-made signs and chanting Spanish celebratory songs.
The surprise had been arranged by her niece, Belkis Plata, 32, who wanted to celebrate her aunt finalising her battle to overcome the deadly disease.
Deciding to take advantage of Cristina being at less risk of infection or contamination on chemo days, Belkis organised for friends, family and their church community to come out and welcome her back with open arms.
