The crash involved four separate vehicles – including a silver Porsche 911 – in Pasture Road. Although the crash involved four badly damaged cars and vans, Nottinghamshire Police have confirmed that only one passenger suffered from minor injuries and no arrests were made.
The owner of the sports car, a Porsche 911 Carrera 4 Cabriolet 996 Generation 2, was devastated after a Ford crashed into the side of his car causing substantial damage to both vehicles.
Steven Parr, 34, the owner of the rare £80,000 car, one of only seven made in 2002 and 19 overall, filmed the aftermath of the crash and posted online.
In the video he said: “That’s the end of the Porsche. I swerved to get out the way and he crashed straight into the side of me.
“He wrote off my pride and joy – it was a Porsche 911, now it’s written off.”
