In the wake of Hurricane Harvey, over 30,000 people were displaced due to flooding and other damage caused by the storm.
As many families fled Houston and the surrounding areas, animals were left behind. While it’s heartbreaking to hear stories of families being torn apart, from each other and their animals, many heroes emerged in the days after Harvey.
One group of men came forward to be the heroes a poor dog needed. The dog had been treading water for three days.
The circumstances of what happened to the dog’s family are unclear. But in the video, the men quickly work to rescue her.
