As you may have heard, bodybuilder and meteorologist Joe Bastardi challenged Bill Nye the Science Guy to show a link between carbon dioxide in the atmosphere and the world’s temperature. He also challenged Bill to forecast where temperatures are headed over the next 5 years.
Bill Nye has accepted Joe’s challenge, as he explains in this video. Bill not only explores the data supporting climate change, but also looks at some of organizations Joe has spoken to (including the Coal Trading Conference and the North American Gas Forum), telling them what they want to hear.
Watch this video to see Bill bet Joe $10,000 that 2016 will be among the top ten hottest years ever recorded. And that’s not all. Bill also bets Joe another $10,000 that the decade 2010 to 2020 will prove to be the hottest decade ever recorded.
