Sky Sports presenter Hayley Moore stunned onlookers at Chepstow when she stopped a horse running loose on the track.
Moore dropped her mic, ducked under the rails and stood directly in the path of the charging horse before catching it by the reins.
Footage circulated on social media shows her being dragged to the floor but clinging on, before getting back to her feet and bringing the horse to a stop.
Afterwards she joked: “He gave me a clump there but I just couldn’t bear to see it go out on another lap so I thought we’d go for it.
“They’ll have to put the divot back in! Lucky it’s on the jumps course so there’ll be time before the jumps season commences here.”
