Apple Store Accused Of Racial Profiling After Video Shows Staff Ejecting Black Students

Staff member recorded saying security guards wanted group of six teenagers to leave Melbourne store because they were worried ‘they might steal something’.

A group of black teen students has accused Apple employees of racism after a manager, accompanied by security personnel, kicked them out of a store in Australia because they were worried that “they might steal something.”

The shocking clip shows the scene outside the Apple store where the students try to reason with the manager as he explains why they needed to leave the store’s premises.

Naturally, the group was offended and claimed they were racially profiled because of the color of their skin.

The video may not have provided the full context of the incident, but Apple has responded by conducting an investigation regarding the matter.
