A fawn was in a tough spot, stranded on the ice in the dead of winter. That’s when Finnish Coast Guard officials spotted the struggling baby deer near the Inkoo Archipelago in southern Finland.
Senior Coast Guard Kristian Rastedt grabbed the animal by the scruff of its neck and escorted it off the ice.
The fawn scurried off into the woods. And Kristian gave a thumbs-up for a successful rescue.
