A young Disney fan got the surprise of her life after her parents plotted a secret trip to Disney World in Orlando to celebrate her 12th birthday.
Atlanta-based meteorologist Brad Nitz of Channel 2 Action News posted this hilarious video of his daughter shrieking with joy when she looked up from her phone long enough to realize where she was: the Disney gates.
The family was headed home after a week-long vacation to Amelia Island. But while the girls were distracted with their devices, the family was actually headed two hours south to Orlando.
In this case, technology worked in their favor: The girls didn’t notice numerous signs pointing to Orlando until Nitz was pulling into the theme park.
“Am I dreaming?” his daughter shrieks, “Because this has happened before in my dreams!”
